Deep learning is caring about understanding the information you are recieving. I think that my sense of curiosity has always made me a deep learner. However, this does not apply to every aspect of my education. When it came to subjects such as English, History, and certain Sciences; I was eager to understand concepts and fully take in information. When I took Math classes, I was strictly concerned about getting the correct answer and notcaring about how or why it was the right answer. Many of my teachers made itseem as though the only thing that was important was getting the right answer,instead of understanding why it was. I had a few teachers that directed myotherwise, but the majority of teachers I've encountered were only worried aboutthemselves looking good. In college, I would like to be a deep learner ineverything I encounter. From here on out, everything I do matters and countstowards my career. I want to be a well-rounded individual and succeed at my profession. In order to do so, I must put effort into my education.
